Local Group Network

Our group network is the rock on which our charity was built over 50 years ago and remains an important part of the services we provide today. Groups offer an important forum for friendship and companionship at the heart of local communities offering everything from visiting speakers, days out, theatre trips, pub lunches, walking activities, skittles and the odd session of Beetle Drive or Bingo!

Sadly with a drop in available volunteers the number of groups we have operating has diminished, although we are always happy to discuss opening new groups with anyone interested.

As we are emerging from the pandemic most of our local groups have restarted their activities. You can find out more about their programmes by clicking on the relevant group page on the website. For those without a published programme we'd advise you to contact the Local Group contact shown for more information.

Finding your nearest group

To find our whether there's a group near you you can use our postcode search and if there is a group close to you it will show you more details. Please note: if no group shows then that means there is no operating group within 20 miles of your postcode.

If there is no telephone number listed on the group page or if you can't find a group local to you then do contact us on 020 8691 7411 as we'd be happy to help you further.
