Services Local community groups Local Group Network Our group network is the rock upon which our charity was built over 50 years ago and remains an important part of the services we provide to our beneficiaries today. Our groups provide an important forum for friendship and companionship at the heart of local community offering everything from visiting speakers, days out, theatre trips, pub lunches, walking activities, skittles and the odd session of Beetle Drive or Bingo! Sadly with a drop in available volunteers to help run the groups the number we have operating has fallen in recent years, although we are always happy to discuss the opening of new groups with anyone interested. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: UPDATE: 9th February 2021 Following our Board of Directors meeting this morning, the current suspension of our local group network and home visiting service has been extended until the beginning of June, with a review being undertaken in the middle of May. It has also been agreed that this year's Annual General Meeting will, as it was in 2020, be undertaken by post with a Virtual Zoom Conference for Company Members and guests taking place on the morning of 15th July.
