This was our longest walk yet! We completed our challenge on a lovely summer's day in September walking a total distance of 15 miles!!

Our walking team was made up of our Chairman Mike Baker CBE, Treasurer Jenny Rowe CB, Associate Director Claire McGuckin and the staff and volunteers from Fellowship Office.

We started at Embankment Station and walked anti-clockwise round the Circle Line finishing in SW1. Unlike our Walk in 2017, the weather was beautiful throughout the Walk so there wasn't an umbrella in sight!

What are we walking for?

We were walking to raise money for our Befriending Services. Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting retired civil servants in need of some extra social support and contact - through our National Visitors Network and Phone Buddy Schemes.
